Hair Loss: Causes And Solutions

Preventing hair loss may seem to be an overwhelming and impossible task. Many people perceive this problem to be one of the natural consequences of aging, but for those who suffer hair loss early in life this doesn't ring true. They naturally ask, "why me?" Thinning and receding hair can be a natural part of growing older, but ‘aging’, as defined by our living years, is not the only cause.

Although we cannot (so far) stop the aging process, there are many other contributing factors over which we do have some degree of control. Human aging is not linear, and no 2 people physically age at the same rate. We all know someone who is physically much older or younger than their calendar years.

Hair Loss: All You Need To Know

Do you sometimes become shocked by the number of hairs in your brush or does your hairline seem to move backward day after day?
Some forms of hair loss are temporary, others - unfortunately - are not. How is that and why does one bother it more than the other?

According to hormone expert Ralph Moorman, hair loss occurs when we lose more than 100 hairs in a day. This sounds a lot, but not too bad. "We have about 100,000 hairs on our heads on average. The amount of hair you have is hereditary. As we age, the number of hair follicles and therefore the number of hairs decreases."

It varies per person how long your hair can be. Every hair has a hair growth cycle. A hair consists of two parts: the follicle and the shaft. The follicle, the root of the hair, grows from the shaft. As new hair develops in the follicle, the hair shaft pushes it out. This will keep your hair growing.

Eliminate VITILIGO! Guaranteed Proven Method.

What is Vitiligo?

Vitiligo is a skin disorder that causes Melanocyte cells to no longer work normally in producing Melanin. As a result, Melanin is unable to produce the pigment that should be your skin color.

Without pigments, skin color will automatically turn white or look pale. Anybody (even babies) can get vitiligo, but patches of vitiligo will appear more clearly in patients with dark skin.

Based on a study, 50 percent of vitiligo sufferers under the age of 20 years even 25 percent of these sufferers have been detected with this skin disorder before they are even eight years old.

The main sign of vitiligo is pale white patches on the skin. Usually these patches arise in areas exposed to sunlight, such as hands, feet, arms, face and lips. Vitiligo signs include:

  • Pale white patches on the skin
  • Gray hair on the head, eyelashes, eyebrows, or beard that appears faster than usual (at a younger age)
  • Palmer colored tissue on the inside of the mouth and nose
  • Discoloration becomes paler on the retina.

There are several types of vitiligo

Hair Loss Treatment

To have healthy hair and stop hair loss, it is important to get enough sleep, healthy food at regular intervals and to stimulate blood circulation in the scalp so that all the nutrients are absorbed by the hair. Do you have a healthy lifestyle? Find out in this article using some specific points.

Too much stress, a too little exercise

Insufficient movement means that the blood flow is not optimal in the body, and thus also the circulatory system does not proceed well on the scalp. It is therefore important to make an hour a day free for activities such as walking, swimming, or cycling.
Movement is also good to relieve stress because stress creates a narrowing of blood vessels and thus also complicates the circulatory system. We ask ourselves beyond the question of what to do against hair loss, both yoga and breathing exercises highly recommended because we can relax strong here.
